Oil bar on Handmade paper
The oil bar paintings/drawings are just that. It is a medium that allows me to explore the immediacy of drawing while allowing me to push and scrape the oil much like my paintings. This re-working process is critical to creating in all my work. The handmade paper is rough in texture to help add to the crustiness of the surface, and the physicality of the work
